Sad eyed lady of the lowlands.
I’ve lost my focus. It’s time to figure out what passes for inspirational stimulus for me these days, and, well, stimulate myself with it.
I think that getting the loft back in order will help things. The minor remodel that D_ started has been going on for what feels like forever now, and I need to reassert some control over my living space. I need some structure and routine and space to breathe. I need to start cooking again, need to get groceries.
I need to clean my fishbowl, too.
Procrastination is a skill. When used correctly, it can actually get your mind ready to complete your intended task more efficiently. I start with tidying my living space, making to-do lists, crossing things off, prioritizing, eating regularly, brushing my teeth and taking breaks for walks and water.
I am at my best when I am about to do something. Can you feel it coming?
Definately coming. I usually feel really good about fixing up my living space – the fishbowl too. I start with a small, non-nonsense, achievable goal and then start ticking things off the list.
Short-term goals are most satisfying when easily ticked off. To wit…
I’ll fulfill your short-term goal.
